Freelance .NET Solution Architect

Company

This large Belgian organization manages a technically complex and business-critical network where operational safety, real-time communication and system reliability are essential. Behind the scenes, several digital platforms support field operations, control rooms and operational staff in managing safety-critical processes.

Within this context, one of the core applications is evolving from a single solution into a broader ecosystem of applications focused on the safety of real-time operations. To support this evolution, the organization is looking for an experienced Solution Architect .NET who can bring structure, technical vision and architectural leadership to the team.

Responsibilities

You will define and guide the technical architecture of a growing application ecosystem used in safety-critical operational processes. You will work closely with developers, analysts, product stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that new and existing solutions are scalable, reliable and future-proof.

You will use your expertise to assess current implementations, propose improvements and help shape upcoming developments. You will coach developers, promote best practices and ensure that architectural decisions are translated into clean, maintainable and robust solutions.

You will also proactively identify technical risks, challenge implementation choices where needed and ensure that quality, scope and deadlines remain aligned. Because the applications support real-time operational workflows, performance, stability and clear communication are crucial throughout your mission.
