Senior Data Engineer - SQL Server

For an international, data-driven organization, we are looking for a Freelance Enterprise Data Warehouse Engineer to support the design and evolution of a modern data platform. In this role, you will play a key part in structuring and modeling data at scale, ensuring high-quality, reliable data foundations for analytics and business decision-making. Your Role As an EDWH Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data warehouse solutions, working closely with data teams and business stakeholders. Design and develop enterprise data warehouse architectures Apply data modeling methodologies such as Kimball (dimensional modeling) and Data Vault 2.0 Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines Integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized data platform Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance Support reporting and analytics use cases Translate business requirements into robust data solutions Your Profile Proven experience as a Data Engineer / EDWH Engineer Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and modeling Hands-on experience with Kimball methodology and Data Vault 2.0 Solid knowledge of SQL and ETL/ELT processes Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus Familiarity with tools such as dbt, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar Strong analytical mindset and ability to bridge business and technical needs Good communication skills Project Details Type: Freelance / Contract Duration: Long-term assignment (initial contract with possible extensions) Start: ASAP Location: Hybrid (on-site + remote, depending on project needs)
