You translate business needs into functional specifications for digital platforms such as mobile applications, AI solutions or e-Commerce tools. Your projects may relate to payments, credit or compliance for example.br/ Our clients of the energy sector produce and transport electricity and gas for the Belgian market. To support their specific business issues, they develop in-house IT products.br/ In order to run Energy projects related to smart metering, electrical network stability, customers and contracts management, gas flow management, legal regulations, real time data management, energy management trading, Grid maintenance and development, etc. the Functional Analyst captures, consolidates and communicates the information from the various business stakeholders to the IT teams in order to provide them the necessary pieces of information to create a new solution.br/ br/ h2Your tasks will be /h2 ul liTranslating business requirements into a structured IT solution while keeping a functional approach /li liUsing your energy industry knowledge to help translating this functional design into well-tailored technical design /li liCollaborating with the business analysts for proper translation of the needs /li liPreparing functional integration test cases based on the requirements /li liTesting of the product before delivery to the users /li liAnalysing potential corrective actions to be taken /li liFollowing up of technical designers and programmers /li liBeing able to go into technical details /li liWorking closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs /li /ul br/ h2What do we expect from our Consultant ? /h2 ul liYou have a Master Degree in information technologies, electricity, electronics or equivalent /li liYou have a proven experience in Functional Analysis /li liVery good knowledge of Energy Market issues and modelling tools and methodologies among others: ul ligeneration, transportation, metering, billing, Grid management, asset management, contract management, gas flow management, risk management, portfolio management, power optimization, energy trading, real time applications ... as you can interact with energy markets specialiss /li liUML, RUP... /li /ul /li liAn experience in IT projects based on Microsoft architecture (.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, TFS) could be a real asset /li liNice to have: knowledge of a testing framework or automation tool (NUnit, QTP) /li liYou are able to make the bridge between technical and business experts worlds /li liYou can meet project deadlines and provide high quality deliverables /li liYou have high communications skills and analytical skills /li liYou are rigorous /li liYou are capable to think out of the box and maintain in the meantime a pragmatic approach. /li liYou are able to work with autonomy while being also a great team player /li liYou are fluent in French and English, a good knowledge of Dutch is also required /li liYou are committed to travelling abroad occasionally upon the client's request /li /ul br/ h2Why should you taste the lime flavor ? /h2 ul li A strong learning environment: tribes, training budgetbr/ /li li Career follow-up with dedicated Business Managers and an associate planbr/ /li li Attractive benefits package (mobility plan, meal vouchers, insurances,...)br/ /li li Hybrid working model: client working, home working Cream workingbr/ /li li Strong Csr commitments, with recognized labels in environmental responsibility and diversity inclusion.br/ /li li A consulting company of around 200 Creamers, located in the center of Brusselsbr/ /li /ul Our recruitment process is clear and structured, with three steps and feedback throughout.br/ Cream Consulting is committed to equal opportunities.
