Project Manager

Nexeo is currently looking for a Project Manager for one of the leading financial institutions in Belgium.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Project Delivery & Governance

• Lead and manage one or several projects from initiation to delivery
• Define project objectives in collaboration with management and key stakeholders
• Ensure project planning, budgeting, resource allocation and effort estimation
• Coordinate project staffing and subcontracting activities when required
• Establish and improve project governance approaches within the Marketing & Communications department
• Promote project management best practices and share know-how with junior project managers

Project Monitoring & Risk Management

• Monitor project scope, timelines, quality, costs and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all business objectives and functional requirements are properly addressed
• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and dependencies
• Ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining delivery quality and deadlines
• Support decision-making processes and escalation management when needed

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Act as the main point of contact between business teams and project stakeholders
• Facilitate communication across internal teams, suppliers and external partners
• Participate in steering committees and governance meetings
• Prepare and present regular progress reports and project updates
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation skills

Compliance, Standards & Delivery Quality

• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, governance rules and operational risk requirements
• Guarantee application of gating principles across all project stages
• Ensure all involved parties, including subcontractors, comply with internal processes and standards
• Maintain and update all project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure proper handover to operational teams for post-project “run” activities

Leadership & Collaboration

• Functionally manage project teams and lead by example
• Foster collaboration, motivation and knowledge sharing within teams
• Contribute to a solution-oriented and continuously improving work environment
• Support Agile ways of working and cross-functional collaboration

Profile

• Bachelor or Master degree
• Project Management certifications are a strong asset
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Project Management
• Proven experience managing complex projects in fast-evolving environments
• Strong experience in Agile environments
• Experience in Marketing & Communications projects is a plus
• Experience within the financial sector is highly appreciated
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills
• Team player with leadership and motivational capabilities

Technical Skills

Mandatory

• Strong expertise in project management methodologies, processes and tools
• Experience managing complex transformation projects
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Adobe Campaign
• Experience in Marketing & Communications ecosystems
• Experience in banking or financial services environments

Languages

• Good knowledge of English
• Fluent in French or Dutch
