Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Support BNP Paribas Cardif actuarial teams with operational closing activities, reporting, and analysis
• Monitor and analyse technical profitability across risks, products, premiums, claims, commissions, and reinsurance flows
• Calculate and follow up on technical reserves and assess adequacy of actuarial methodologies
• Prepare quarterly closing reports and technical result analyses
• Perform actuarial studies and support risk monitoring activities
• Collaborate closely with Pricing, Solvency II, IFRS17, and other departments
• Automate recurring actuarial processes and improve BAU efficiency through tooling and optimization
• Provide expert actuarial advice and contribute to actuarial governance standards
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of actuarial outputs and reporting

Experience Required

• Master’s degree in Actuarial Science
• Minimum 6 years of experience in actuarial roles within insurance or financial services
• Strong experience in actuarial closing/reporting and IFRS4-related environments
• Excellent analytical and technical actuarial skills
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills (Access is a plus)
• Hands-on coding experience with Python, SAS, or VBA
• Strong understanding of insurance technical reserves and profitability analysis
• Experience with actuarial reporting, claims analysis, and production follow-up
• Knowledge of BNP Paribas Cardif tools/processes is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Autonomous, proactive, and result-oriented mindset
• Fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus)
• Comfortable with hybrid working model (50% onsite / 50% remote)
