To support the further centralization and professionalization of their forecasting and S&OP processes, we are currently looking for a Demand Planner EMEA.
Job description
As a Demand Planner EMEA, you are responsible for building and managing accurate demand forecasts for several European markets. You play a key role within the S&OP process and act as the link between Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
You work with historical data, forecasting tools, and commercial input to build realistic demand plans at SKU level. In this role, you regularly align with various international stakeholders and actively contribute to the further optimization and professionalization of the forecasting process.
- You are responsible for building, managing, and optimizing demand forecasts for several European markets, considering historical data, market trends, promotions, and commercial input.
- You build baseline forecasts using forecasting tools and statistical models and translate promotional and market information into realistic and data-driven demand plans at SKU level.
- You align monthly with sales and marketing teams and challenge stakeholders to ensure the quality, completeness, and reliability of the forecast.
- You actively contribute to the further optimization of the forecasting and S&OP process within an international and continuously evolving environment.
- You work closely with internal stakeholders including Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, and Business Analysts to ensure efficient and accurate planning.
Profile
- You have initial relevant experience within demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, or a similar analytical Supply Chain role.
- Experience within an international environment or within consumer goods/FMCG is considered a strong plus.
- You combine strong analytical skills with excellent communication abilities and know how to professionally interact with different stakeholders.
- You feel comfortable working in a complex and changing environment where processes are continuously being optimized and centralized.
- You enjoy working in a data-driven way, have affinity with forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP IBP), and can translate data insights into concrete actions and realistic forecasts.
- You communicate fluently in English and enjoy working in an international environment; knowledge of an additional European language is considered a plus.
