Finance Expert (Business Central)

Our client

Our client is an international industrial group with HQ in Belgium and has more than 3.000 employees. Our client is a leading international industrial group headquartered in Belgium, employing more than 3,000 professionals globally. As part of a major digital transformation initiative, they are rolling out Microsoft Business Central across multiple entities and are looking for a Finance & ERP Business Partner to help drive this strategic implementation.

This role is ideal for finance professionals who combine strong business acumen with a passion for IT, ERP systems, and process optimization. You will play a key role at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology, helping shape how financial and business processes are standardized and integrated across the organization.

Main responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into ERP functionality and configure the ERP within your functional business domain
• Ensure cross-functional domain integration and define cross functional data topics
• Act as an internal consultant for assigned functional areas and guide, coach, and train stakeholders
• Optimize business processes and identify opportunity for further alignment between entities
• Assist in creating training materials and leading training sessions
• Support the integration and implementation of processes
• Document work procedures using UML, BPML, or sequence diagrams
• Participate in go-live and hyper-care activities
• Define master data requirements and promote standard ERP setup

Profile required

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Business Central
• Excellent understanding of business processes and functional requirements
• Experience in translating business requirements into ERP solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good command of the other
• Ability to travel within Belgium
