Business analyst Fraud

As a Senior Business Analyst – Fraud Cluster, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Business Analysis & Agile Delivery

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities within the Fraud Cluster
• Act as Feature Owner / Opus Owner for strategic fraud prevention and detection initiatives
• Facilitate Agile ideation and refinement sessions (EPICs, Features, OPUS) with business and IT stakeholders
• Gather, analyze and challenge business needs to ensure efficiency, scalability and strategic alignment
• Translate business and customer needs into clear functional requirements for delivery teams
• Ensure proper documentation allowing squads to work autonomously and efficiently
• Coordinate contributors and stakeholders during refinement phases until maturity of the feature/opus

Fraud Prevention & Customer Experience

• Contribute to the evolution of fraud prevention and detection solutions within the banking environment
• Ensure customer experience aspects are fully integrated into the proposed solutions
• Use mock-ups, visuals and structured communication to validate requirements with stakeholders
• Collaborate with Product Owners and squad members to deliver innovative and future-oriented fraud solutions

Testing, Change & Delivery Support

• Prepare and participate in end-to-end testing activities to ensure high-quality deliveries
• Report on progress, risks, issues and defects throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Support business onboarding and change management activities during implementation and go-live phases
• Monitor solution adoption and ensure alignment between delivered functionalities and business expectations
• Proactively identify and manage constraints, impediments and dependencies to keep delivery on track

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Ensure transparent and continuous communication with business stakeholders and contributors
• Collaborate closely with Agile squads, Product Owners and technical teams
• Act as a bridge between business and IT to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment
• Contribute to a collaborative, customer-centric and solution-oriented environment

Profile

• Master degree or equivalent by experience
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong experience with Agile ideation and refinement techniques
• Proven experience as Opus Owner / Feature Owner
• Experience in banking, finance or regulated environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of fraud prevention and detection activities within the banking sector is a strong asset
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
• Autonomous, structured and proactive mindset
• Team player with strong ownership mentality

Technical Skills

Mandatory

• Expertise in MS Office, including graphs and data visualizations
• Experience contributing to testing activities
• Functional analysis and understanding of technical functionalities
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery processes

Nice to Have

• Functional and technical understanding of fraud-related solutions
• Experience in customer servicing and operational efficiency initiatives

Languages

• Excellent communication skills in English
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch
