Accountant / Senior Accountant

To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant who wants to help build a strong financial foundation to support our international growth. As an Accountant, you play a key role in ensuring the financial health and transparency of our organization. You work with a high degree of autonomy, take ownership, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes. You work in close collaboration with the Head of Group Finance & Administration. Post and process journal entries (sales invoices, purchase invoices, bank statements, expense accounts, deferred and accrued charges…) Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and prepare payments Processing of monthly balance sheets, income statements, yearly statutory accounts and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines Prepare monthly group consolidation focusing on eliminating inter-company transactions, in collaboration with the Head of Group Finance & Administration Master's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant domain Proven experience as accountant Proficient in Dutch Proficient understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles Excellent Excel skills Able to work independently while being a committed team player A key role in a fast-growing high-tech company Training and development to further strengthen your expertise A close-knit and collaborative team culture Octiva is a fast-growing robotics company on a mission to help growers succeed through smart automation.
