Freelance Linux System Engineer - Transformational Project - Hybrid

We are looking for a freelance Linux System Engineer responsible for supporting a large-scale transformation programme focused on modernizing enterprise infrastructure, platforms, and open systems environments. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing Linux-based solutions while supporting automation, platform stability, and technology modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure and open systems environments.
• Support enterprise transformation initiatives involving platform modernization and technology evolution.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable system designs.
• Evaluate technical solutions, design trade-offs, and infrastructure improvements.
• Support deployment, configuration, and optimization of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and OpenShift environments.
• Develop and maintain automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and system optimization activities.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to support delivery objectives.
