We are looking for a Business Analyst to support a Risk & Credits rating applications project impacting rating processes, risk models, expected loss, risk weighted assets, loan loss reserves and regulatory capital. The role operates within a risk squad in a 50% on-site (Brussels) and 50% homeworking setup. The start date is as soon as possible. Key responsibilities Translate requirements into local requirements. Collaborate with the risk modelling team. Integrate model changes into the rating systems. Ensure alignment with changes in the risk modelling process. Assess system impacts and organisation impacts. Assess impacts on expected loss, risk weighted assets, loan loss reserves and risk-based pricing. Assess impacts on internal and external reporting. Communicate impacts to relationship managers and risk officers using the rating systems. Communicate project cost impacts to tribe management. Communicate impacts to management stakeholders. Operate within a risk squad and quickly acquire process, architecture and system knowledge. Must-Have Requirements ~ At least 2 years of relevant experience. ~2 to 3 years of experience as a business analyst or in functional analysis. ~ Experience with SQL. ~ Functional and technical analysis skills. ~ Medium to expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. ~ Testing capabilities. ~ Experience with credits. ~ Experience supporting a development squad in an agile environment. ~ Experience working in a large company or complex business environment. ~ Experience in large-scale IT development. ~ Expertise in data analysis, requirements documentation and testing. ~ Good math skills, through education or professional experience. ~ Ability to communicate with risk modelers developing complex statistical models. ~ Ability to understand complex IT architectures, including API and batch interfaces. ~ Dutch or French proficiency: fluent/good speaking and understanding, and basic/good writing. ~ English proficiency.
