Senior Analog Design Engineer

Mission

The Senior Analog Design Engineer will play a key role in the design, architecture, and verification of advanced CMOS image sensors, contributing to the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal solutions. The role combines hands-on circuit design, system-level thinking, long-term research activities, and collaboration with internal experts, partners, and customers to drive innovation and technical excellence across complex sensor development programs.

Responsibilities

Design and Architecture of CMOS Image Sensors

• Lead the design and architectural definition of advanced CMOS image sensor solutions focused on signal integrity and system integration.
• Translate image sensor requirements into detailed block-level specifications and analog design strategies.
• Contribute to the development of innovative analog and mixed-signal circuit topologies for next-generation sensing technologies.

Verification, Simulation, and Technical Validation

• Perform design verification activities using advanced simulation, validation, and characterization methodologies.
• Collaborate with testing and characterization teams to ensure sensor testability and performance validation.
• Support initial debugging activities and analyze characterization results to optimize design robustness and functionality.

Research and Innovation

• Conduct long-term research on circuit architectures, pixel performance, and image sensing technologies.
• Explore innovative approaches to improve sensor performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Contribute to continuous technical advancement within highly specialized semiconductor and imaging environments.

Collaboration and Technical Leadership

• Work closely with internal engineering experts, project partners, and customers throughout project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support within collaborative multidisciplinary development teams.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, ownership, technical rigor, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Microelectronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Nanotechnology, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design, system-on-chip development, or electronic systems engineering.
• Solid understanding of theoretical concepts combined with hands-on experience in circuit design, simulation, and validation.
• Ability to derive and manage detailed block-level specifications from system-level requirements.
• Experience collaborating with test and characterization environments for semiconductor products.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical mindset and pragmatic problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in CMOS image sensor design and imaging technologies.
• Exposure to semiconductor production-related challenges and manufacturability considerations.
• Background in high-performance imaging applications such as scientific, medical, industrial, or space technologies.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to technical leadership activities within engineering teams.
