I am currently supporting a well-established company in Ghent with the search for an Accountant to join their finance team.

This position offers a broad and hands-on accounting role with exposure to multiple entities and close collaboration across finance and administration. The company is looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, and contributing to a professional yet collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Full A-Z accounting
• VAT and tax-related activities
• Intercompany transactions
• Month-end and year-end closing support
• Financial administration and reporting
• Working across different entities and systems

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Relevant experience within accounting
• Strong understanding of tax and intercompany accounting
• Experience across multiple companies or environments is considered a strong advantage
• Dutch fluency
• Hands-on, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset
