CyberArk & System Automation Engineer

Are you a driven IT professional with a strong passion for cybersecurity and infrastructure? At Randstad Digital, we are looking for an enthusiastic CyberArk & System Automation Engineer to join our team. In this challenging role, you will work on managing and automating our self-hosted CyberArk environment. You will directly contribute to minimizing cyber risks and optimizing our Identity & Access Management (IAM) ecosystem for a high-tech client.

• Location: Hybrid (Brussels Region / Remote within Belgium)
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience with CyberArk and system engineering
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent through experience

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and optimize the self-hosted CyberArk environment.
• Automate the entire security ecosystem using Python and Shell scripting.
• Perform incident management and root cause analyses for complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure application management, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Implement REST API integrations for seamless connections with Open Systems and cloud infrastructure (IaaS).
• Contribute to keeping build and release pipelines up to date and testing the security environment.

Your Profile:

• Solid knowledge of and experience with CyberArk engineering within Microsoft Windows and Linux (Red Hat OS / OpenShift) environments.
• Strong skills in scripting and automation (Python, Shell scripting, and preferably PowerShell or Bladelogic).
• Experience with Cyber Risk Management, incident handling, and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), authentication management, and CI/CD pipelines is a strong plus.
• Fluent proficiency in English (knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset).
• A proactive, eager-to-learn team player who is security-driven and absorbs new information quickly.
