Human Resources Manager (Legal)


HR MANAGER Menarini is a leading global Pharmaceutical Group with activities all over the world, achieving a turnover of around €5,000 million in 2025. Menarini Benelux NV is the dynamic affiliate responsible for distributing Pharmaceutical and Diagnostics Products across Belgium, Luxembourg, and The Netherlands, with a local turnover of €78 million in 2025. Located in Diegem (De Kleetlaan 3), our organization currently counts 162 dedicated employees spread across the Benelux payrolls (140 in Belgium, 19 in the Netherlands, and 3 in Luxembourg). We are seeking a passionate and driven HR Manager to lead our HR department. Reporting directly to the Finance & Administration Director, you will oversee a close-knit team of 3 HR professionals (including an HR Officer and two HR Assistants) to support our people and business growth. HR Advice & Partnership: Act as a strategic sparring partner to the Management Team (MT) and advise management and employees on all HR life cycle aspects (recruitment, dismissal, sickness, performance management, talent development, organizational design, and labor issues). Employee Benefits & Payroll Management: Oversee an effective and efficient personnel payroll across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Manage our HR tools (SD Worx and We People), coordinate bonus plans/warrants, and maintain an adequate remuneration policy. Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate and execute recruitment activities (excluding sales & marketing) through internal and external channels, manage preferred suppliers, and maintain an engaging onboarding cycle for new starters. Project Management & Policies: Develop, implement, and evaluate tailored HR policies in alignment with business needs together with the management team. Coordinate designated local and international projects. Prepare the annual HR budget in close collaboration with Accounting and ensure solid HR reporting to the holding company, accounting, and audit. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; legal training is considered a strong asset. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of proven working experience as an HR Manager, Payroll Professional, or HR Generalist. Knowledge: In-depth, practical knowledge of labor law, payroll systems, and HR best practices. Languages: Excellent communication and active listening skills in Dutch and French with a very good knowledge of English. proven project management, planning, and organizational capabilities.
