Process Automation Engineer

Join an engineering team delivering advanced automation projects within industrial production environments, with a strong focus on process automation. In this role, you will contribute to the full software development cycle, from functional analysis through commissioning and customer acceptance. You will work closely with project teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered according to quality, safety and timing expectations. The position combines hands-on technical programming with direct involvement in testing and on-site implementation.

• Develop PLC, SCADA and HMI software based on functional specifications.
• Participate in FAT, SAT and on-site commissioning activities.
• Support technical estimations during project quotation phases.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams throughout project execution.
• Report project progress, risks and technical issues to project management.

What we expect from you:

• Degree in in Automation, Electromechanics or related technical field.
• 2-10 years of experience within industrial automation projects.
• Preferably experience with Siemens platforms such as S7, TIA Portal and WinCC.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
