Lead Software Engineer

An internationally active Belgian software developer is building a specialized SaaS platform for manufacturing companies within a niche industry, with customers worldwide. The organization combines a strong product vision with a modern technology stack and places strong emphasis on cloud, data, and AI to further refine and expand its solutions.

You will be working on a Greenfield project together with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

You will take a leading role within your development team, which is part of the new Product program. You will lead the team and build the product and new features from A to Z. You will work across the organization as an architect, prepare sprints, collaborate cross-departmentally, engage with stakeholders, and also follow up with your team. Of course, you will also remain hands-on involved as a developer. They have chosen .NET for the backend.

In addition, the team actively experiments with AI and LLMs, intelligently automating repetitive manual processes through proofs of concept and concrete use cases.

Profile

• You have a Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Economics, or a similar field
• You have strong experience in .NET
• You are analytical, solution-oriented, and quality-focused
• You want to help build innovative cloud solutions and have an interest in AI
• You communicate fluently and enjoy working in a young and ambitious team
• You work in Dutch and English
