Project Manager junior

Nexeo is currently looking for a Project Manager Business for one of the leading financial institutions in Belgium.

As a Project Manager Business, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

ESG Coordination & Sustainable Finance

• Coordinate ESG-related initiatives across the Enterprises segment (Midcap & SME)
• Support the development of a consistent and forward-looking ESG approach within Commercial Banking
• Contribute to the implementation of sustainable finance strategies and ESG ambitions
• Ensure ESG topics are embedded pragmatically into daily business activities and client interactions
• Promote continuous improvement of ESG processes, reporting and follow-up mechanisms

Business Support & Relationship Management

• Support Relationship Managers (RMs) in integrating ESG into client discussions and commercial activities
• Translate ESG concepts into practical and value-adding actions for the business
• Help strengthen long-term client relationships through ESG-driven opportunities and sustainable finance solutions
• Act as a central point of coordination between front-office teams and internal experts
• Facilitate collaboration across departments to maximize client impact and business value

Project Coordination & Reporting

• Ensure effective follow-up of ESG assignments, initiatives and action plans
• Monitor progress, priorities and deliverables while ensuring timely reporting to management
• Provide visibility on ESG-related activities and contribute to achieving regulatory and strategic objectives
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure smooth communication between business teams and internal functions
• Contribute to the evolution of ESG governance and operational efficiency within the organization

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders on ESG priorities and business objectives
• Simplify complex ESG topics for different audiences and business teams
• Collaborate with Sales Management and Commercial Banking HQ teams
• Foster a proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented working environment

Profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Business Management or related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience, ideally in banking or financial services
• Motivated recent graduates with a strong economic background are also welcome
• Strong interest and understanding of ESG and sustainability topics
• Commercial mindset with strong organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders efficiently
• Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with strong collaboration abilities

Technical Skills

Mandatory

• Good knowledge of IT and Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PDF)
• Strong reporting and coordination capabilities
• Understanding of ESG and sustainable finance topics

Nice to Have

• Solid commercial experience
• Experience in ESG-related projects or initiatives
• Experience within banking or Corporate Banking environments

Languages

• Native level Dutch
• Very good knowledge of French
• Good level of English
