Senior Accountant - Brussels Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a role with real ownership, international exposure, and long-term growth potential? An established international group headquartered in Brussels is looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. Operating across infrastructure, environmental services, and industrial operations, the business combines entrepreneurial spirit with the stability of a well-established family-owned organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where finance is closely connected to operations and decision-making. As Senior Accountant, you will take responsibility for the accounting activities of several entities within the group and become a key member of the finance team based in Brussels. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and play an important role in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement across the finance function. Managing the full accounting cycle from A to Z for multiple entities Coordinating day-to-day accounting activities and supporting junior team members Ensuring compliance with VAT, tax, and regulatory obligations Driving process improvements and helping optimise reporting efficiency Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax Proven accounting track record Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting and tax regulations Experience working in an international or multi-entity environment is a plus Fluent in English Join a financially stable international group with a long-term vision Exposure to international operations and complex business activities Modern offices in Brussels with a collaborative team culture A business where finance plays a strategic role, not just a reporting function If you are looking for a challenging accounting opportunity within a growing and internationally active organisation, we would love to hear from you.
