Business Development Manager EMEA Contract Logistics

Katoen Natie is a global leader in value-added logistics, building tailor-made supply chain solutions for the world's leading companies. With over 180 sites globally, our Consumer Goods division operates across diverse sectors including E-commerce, Retail, Automotive, Health & Personal Care, and more.

We are currently looking for a commercial heavyweight to drive our Contract Logistics business across the EMEA region. Because deep sector expertise is key to our success, every Business Development Manager takes ownership of a specific, dedicated vertical. We are looking for a true hunter who enjoys bringing in new business.

  • Hunt and Connect: Actively prospect, network, and generate leads specifically within the contract logistics space.
  • Build the Pipeline: Maintain a high-quality, active sales pipeline and consistently push opportunities toward the finish line.
  • Drive Strategy: Work autonomously to execute a targeted sales strategy, identifying the most lucrative prospects.
  • Engage: Travel roughly 25% of the time to sit across the table from prospects and negotiate high-value, long-term partnerships.

What You Bring to the Table

  • The Experience: At least 5 years of proven business development experience, within the Contract Logistics sector.
  • The Drive: You have a pure hunter mentality. You are comfortable working autonomously, initiating conversations, and handling rejection.
  • The Presence: You possess a strong commercial mindset and easily navigate conversations at the executive and C-suite levels.
  • The Languages: Fluent, professional Dutch and English are mandatory. If you can negotiate in French, that gives you a massive edge.
