OMP Functional Consultant

Requires to travel to US – US travel is once / twice during project. Resource will need to travel to customer local Belgium / around office frequently.

Travel to US, client will reimburse Expenses, should have valid Passport at the time of Hiring.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled OMP Functional Consultant with strong expertise in OMP Unison Planning to support end-to-end supply chain planning transformation and implementation programs. The consultant will play a critical role in solution design, configuration, integration alignment (preferably SAP), and deployment, working closely with business and IT stakeholders.

This role requires a mix of functional expertise in supply chain planning and hands-on OMP implementation experience, along with the ability to operate in a global delivery model (onsite + offshore).

Location & Deployment

• Primary Location: EU (Belgium) – Preferred
• Alternate Model: Remote with travel flexibility to US as required
• Travel Requirement: Required during key phases (workshops, UAT, go-live)

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Requirements & Solution Design

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements across:
• Demand Planning
• Supply Planning
• Production Planning
• Inventory Optimization
• Translate requirements into OMP functional design and solution architecture
• Drive solution blueprinting workshops and recommend leading practices
• Align business processes with OMP standard capabilities

2. OMP Configuration & Implementation

• Configure OMP Unison Planning modules including planning models, master data, and workflows
• Set up planning parameters, constraints, and optimization logic
• Support end-to-end implementation lifecycle:
• Blueprint
• Build & Config
• Testing
• Deployment

3. Integration & Data Alignment

• Collaborate with technical teams for system integrations
• Provide functional inputs for integration with SAP (ECC / S4HANA preferred)
• Validate:
• Master data flows
• Transactional data interfaces
• Planning outputs back to ERP

4. Testing & Validation

• Define test strategy, scenarios, and scripts
• Lead/support:
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Ensure solution meets business requirements and performance criteria

5. Deployment & Hypercare

• Support cutover planning and execution
• Ensure readiness for go-live (data, users, processes)
• Provide hypercare support post go-live
• Troubleshoot functional issues and ensure quick resolution

6. Stakeholder Management

• Act as a functional SME and trusted advisor for client stakeholders
• Facilitate:
• Workshops
• CRP sessions
• Business demos
• Coordinate with offshore teams for delivery alignment

7. Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for:
• Planning process optimization
• Automation and efficiency improvement
• Recommend enhancements based on business needs and OMP capabilities

• Strong hands-on experience in OMP Unison Planning implementation

Functional Supply Chain Knowledge

Integration Knowledge

• Experience with SAP integration (preferred):

Experience Requirements

• 5–10 years of overall experience in supply chain / planning systems
• 2–5 years of relevant OMP experience
• Experience in global implementation or AMS engagements preferred
