Pharmaceutical Scientific Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced product developer for our range of dietary supplements to strengthen our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new products within our dietary supplements line. You will contribute to market research, product development, and the market introduction of innovative products that align with the strategy and quality standards of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research and Development: Conduct market and product research for new dietary supplements that meet customer needs and fit within our existing product range.
• Regulatory Responsibilities: Prepare and submit product dossiers to the Belgian government and ensure compliance with current regulations and standards.
• Education and Support: Develop training programs and support materials for scientifically trained personnel to assist in promoting the products.
• Quality Control: Review and validate all marketing texts, packaging, and promotional materials to ensure that content and claims are scientifically and regulatory correct.
• Conferences and Networking: Represent the company in professional organizations and associations within the sector. Organize and actively participate in relevant conferences and trade shows.
• Trendwatching and Innovation: Identify new trends and developments in the market and translate these into innovative product ideas.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure efficient product launch in the market.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A degree in pharmaceutical sciences.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably in the pharmacy or dietary supplements industry.
• Strong scientific background and interest in Belgian regulations concerning dietary supplements.
• Experience with dossier management and product registration with governmental agencies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly present complex scientific information.
• Strong analytical skills, with a proactive and curious approach towards new trends and innovations in the market.
• A team player with the ability to collaborate diplomatically with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to attend trade shows and networking events.
