Voor een stabiele en groeiende KMO-omgeving zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren Senior Accountant ter versterking van het finance team. Het gaat om een hands-on functie binnen een familiale en collegiale werkomgeving waar initiatief, verantwoordelijkheid en nauwkeurigheid centraal staan.

Je speelt een belangrijke rol in de dagelijkse boekhouding en ondersteunt mee de verdere professionalisering van de financiële processen.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Verantwoordelijk voor de volledige boekhouding van A tot Z
• Verwerken van leveranciersfacturen, banken en betalingen
• Ondersteunen van maand- en jaarafsluitingen
• Verwerken van btw- en fiscale verrichtingen
• Opvolgen van intercompany transacties en reconciliaties
• Correcte financiële administratie en rapportering verzekeren
• Nauwe samenwerking met het administratieve en financiële team
• Ondersteuning bieden bij auditvoorbereiding en compliance

Profiel

• Bachelor in Accountancy, Finance of gelijkaardig
• Minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen accounting
• Sterke kennis van A–Z boekhouding en btw/fiscaliteit
• Ervaring binnen een KMO-omgeving is een sterke troef
• Hands-on ingesteld en operationeel sterk
• Ervaring binnen verschillende bedrijven/omgevingen is een pluspunt
• Goede kennis van Microsoft Office, vooral Excel
• Vlotte kennis van het Nederlands is essentieel
• Proactief, nauwkeurig en resultaatgericht

Senior Accountant

We are currently partnering with a stable and growing SME environment looking to strengthen its finance team with an experienced Senior Accountant. This is a hands-on role within a collaborative company culture where initiative, ownership, and reliability are highly valued.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations and support the business through accurate financial administration and timely closings.

Responsibilities

• Managing full-cycle accounting activities (A–Z accounting)
• Processing supplier invoices, bank transactions, and payments
• Supporting monthly and year-end closings
• Managing VAT/tax-related accounting activities
• Handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Ensuring accurate financial administration and reporting
• Collaborating closely with the administrative and finance team
• Supporting audit preparation and financial compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of A–Z accounting and tax/VAT processes
• Experience in SME or fast-paced environments is highly valued
• Comfortable working in a hands-on operational role
• Experience across multiple company environments is considered a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Dutch fluency is essential (internal communication and systems are primarily in Dutch)
• Accurate, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
