System Engineer

This organisation develops its own advanced integration platform used to centralise and manage complex infrastructure environments ranging from transport networks and public facilities to large-scale industrial and urban systems. Their solutions enable communication between diverse technologies, ensuring efficiency and real-time visibility across operations.

You will play a key role in delivering integration projects, working at the intersection of software, infrastructure, and client environments. The position requires a strong foundation in system engineering combined with hands-on experience in integrations, implementations, and API-driven architectures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing system integrations across complex technical environments
• Configuring and deploying software solutions within customer infrastructures
• Developing and maintaining API integrations between heterogeneous systems
• Collaborating with internal teams and clients to translate functional needs into technical solutions
• Troubleshooting and optimising system performance in live environments
• Supporting project delivery from initial setup through to go-live and beyond
• Ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across integrated systems

Candidate profile:

• Solid background in system engineering, ideally within complex or distributed environments
• Proven experience with system integrations, implementations, and API technologies (e.g. REST API, JSON, XML)
• Strong understanding of networks, protocols, and system interoperability
• Comfortable working with both on-premise and hybrid infrastructures
• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset xqknzec with a hands-on approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a client-facing context
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
