AI Engineer

We are seeking a talented AI Engineer to join our teams at SII Group Belgium, working on high‑value projects in the Defense and Aerospace sectors. You will be involved in the development of advanced AI-driven solutions applied to guided systems, production optimization, and critical embedded environments.

Your Mission

As an AI Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary engineering team and contribute to strategic projects centered on Artificial Intelligence applied to complex systems. You will play a key role in both product development and industrial performance optimization, supporting multiple projects and collaborating closely with engineering, industrialization, quality, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and improve AI / Machine Learning models for:

• Guidance, Navigation & Control systems
• Flight control and aiming systems

Analyze production, test, and flight data to improve:

• System performance
• Quality and robustness

Contribute to simulation activities and physical modeling to support technical decisions

Work closely with engineering, industrialization, quality, and operations teams

Your Profile

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Informatics
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Solid experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning
• Good knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink
• Interest in AI trends and emerging technologies
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to technical excellence
• Knowledge of optimization algorithms (genetic algorithms, convex or Bayesian optimization) is a plus
• Experience with C/C++, Git, DevOps, Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket is a plus
• Fluency in English
