Junior Project Engineer - Energy

As part of the growth of our Energy Business Unit, we are looking for a Junior Project Engineer eager to contribute to a wide range of industrial and energy-related projects. You will join Vulcain’s engineering teams and support strategic initiatives in sectors such as nuclear, electricity and gas networks, biomass, and renewable energy.

This role is ideal for a young graduate who wants to develop technical and transversal project expertise within a stimulating, multidisciplinary, and future‑oriented environment.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As a Project Engineer, you will be involved in the design, coordination, or follow-up of engineering activities depending on the project and client needs.

Your missions may include:

• Supporting project teams in studies, design, and technical analyses (electricity, electromechanics, grid or power systems).
• Participating in the follow‑up of engineering packages and ensuring technical consistency.
• Contributing to the preparation and review of technical documentation.
• Assisting with project planning, risk management, and reporting activities.
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, safety, operations…).
• Participating in field visits, surveys, or site coordination activities.

You will progressively gain autonomy and take on more responsibilities as you develop your technical and project management skills.

ABOUT YOU:

• Master’s degree in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering (ideally with a focus on grid, power systems, or energy‑related topics)
• Strong interest in the energy sector (nuclear, networks, renewables, biomass…).
• Fluent in Dutch and English (French can be an additional asset for specific projects)
• Available to start in September/October 2026
