European Market Access Manager

Location: Belgium or Luxembourg
Contract: Permanent, full-time 40h/week
Our client is an established company in the wound and skin care industry, serving wound-care professionals in the community, hospitals, medical supply retailers & home care services.
Two adverts are live for this role, one for Luxembourg and one for Belgium, as the position can be based in either country. Please apply to only one, as there is a single vacancy.
Your tasks:
Market Access & Value Strategy
- Shape and execute a Europe-wide access strategy to secure reimbursement and payer adoption
- Build compelling value propositions highlighting both clinical and economic benefits, differentiating products from competitors
- Track reimbursement policies, anticipate risks, and guide local teams in effective product positioning
Health Economics & Evidence Generation
- Lead HEOR initiatives, including economic modelling and real-world data analysis to demonstrate product value
- Translate clinical and outcomes data into clear, payer-focused value arguments and dossiers
- Ensure economic endpoints are embedded within clinical and post-market studies
Payer Engagement & Reimbursement
- Support regional teams in negotiations with payers and healthcare authorities
- Develop tools and frameworks for payer communication, including evidence packs and value dossiers
- Provide internal guidance on reimbursement expectations across key markets
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Evidence Alignment
- Partner with Regulatory and Clinical teams to align claims, evidence, and access positioning
- Contribute to lifecycle planning and ensure market access considerations are integrated early
- Convert clinical and scientific data into relevant economic messaging for healthcare systems
Affiliate Support & Best Practice Sharing
- Equip local teams with market access frameworks, tools, and insights
- Promote consistent messaging and share learnings across countries
- Support the development of strong local access strategies aligned to global direction
Capability Building & Team Development
- Strengthen internal market access expertise and processes
- Mentor and guide team members, overseeing analytical and evidence-based work
- Drive knowledge sharing and embed market access thinking across the organisation
Your profile:
- Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in health economics, life sciences, public health, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience
- At least 7+ years’ background in market access, reimbursement, or health economics within MedTech, healthcare, or related therapeutic areas
- Solid understanding of European healthcare systems and reimbursement frameworks
- Familiarity with HEOR principles and the ability to turn clinical evidence into clear economic value propositions
- Experience creating value dossiers and developing materials for payer engagement
- Involvement in reimbursement strategy and supporting discussions with payers; exposure to HTA bodies is advantageous
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to approach challenges from a strategic perspective xqknzec
- Effective communicator with proven stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with regulatory, clinical, and commercial teams
- Experience coaching or supporting junior colleagues is beneficial
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as Dutch, French, or German are considered a plus
