We are currently supporting a major hyperscale data centre construction project in Belgium and are looking to speak with experienced Mechanical / HVAC Leads to support mechanical installation activities on site.

The ideal candidate will support the installation and assembly of mechanical systems within a data centre construction environment, ensuring equipment and systems are installed according to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation plans.

This individual will act as the technical reference point for mechanical installation activities on site, providing guidance to subcontractors and installation teams during the installation of systems including HVAC equipment, piping networks, structural metalwork, and mechanical plant.

The role will involve close collaboration with design engineers, logistics teams, and subcontractors, ensuring the successful installation and integration of mechanical systems within a mission-critical data centre facility.

This is a fully site-based role and requires strong experience working in mechanical installation environments and large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation of mechanical systems within a hyperscale data centre facility

• Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and installation teams during installation works

• Ensure installations follow engineering drawings, installation plans, and technical specifications

• Supervise mechanical installation activities including HVAC systems, piping networks, structural components, and mechanical equipment

• Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during installation xqknzec

• Coordinate with design engineers, logistics teams, and project stakeholders

• Support the integration of mechanical and electromechanical systems within the facility

• Ensure work is carried out safely and in line with project and construction standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience working on data centre projects

Right to work in Belgium
