Accountant

For its Benelux HQ, this global manufacturing company is looking to strengthen its finance department composed of 5 people, within a team of 100 employees.

Due to the promotion of one of their colleagues to the position of CFO, the accountant will take over some of his previous responsibilities, while supporting the Head of Finance. This is a varied role in a flat organization, which will suit best autonomous and driven applicants.

The job is based in Londerzeel.

Accountant – The Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

• The preparation of monthly & quarterly closings and well as the annual accounts
• The preparation and deposit of the month-end VATreturns
• The collection of documents during audits, the contacts with the external auditors
• The participation in the making of the yearly budget, the follow-up and the analysis of potential variances
• Regular accounting reconciliations

Accountant – About You

• You have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• You are fluent in Dutch, English and French (at least a basic level)
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus
