What you will do

• Perform in-depth functional and technical analysis in a mainframe environment
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and technical designs
• Conduct impact and risk analyses on existing applications
• Investigate incidents and contribute to structural root-cause solutions
• Support development and maintenance activities in COBOL environments
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Document analyses, decisions, and solution designs
• Contribute to the optimization and simplification of existing application logic
• Work within both batch and online processing environments

What you bring

• Proven experience as a Mainframe Analyst or Analyst Developer
• Strong expertise in IBM z/OS environments
• Solid knowledge of COBOL, DB2, JCL
• Experience with batch and online processing
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Experience performing impact and risk analyses
• Ability to structure and document complex information clearly
• Strong communication skills with both business and IT stakeholders
• Experience in complex environments is an advantage
