Quality Assurance Manager

You can find BENEO ingredients in all kinds of food applications: from beverages to baby food, from dairy to bakery, from confectionary to cereals and from soup to sauces and in animal nutrition. It helps customers to turn global megatrends – like healthy aging, energy and weight management, digestive health and more – into successful food products. For the Quality department, we are looking for a:

QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the BENEO Group quality management system (including HACCP, KPIs, documentation, corrective actions) to ensure legal, quality, and food safety compliance.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant certification schemes and legal requirements (e.g. FSSC 22000, GMP+, Organic, Smeta, FSMA,...) to maintain certifications.
• Plan, execute, and supervise internal audits to ensure standard compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Drive quality reporting, communication, and food safety culture through reports, newsletters, internal platforms, and campaigns.
• Act as subject matter expert for quality standards by training teams, supporting departments, and managing certification bodies and contracts.
• Coordinate outsourced production approvals, administer quality IT systems, lead continuous improvement projects, and act as single point of contact for selected sites and departments.

Key Qualifications

• Master’s degree in industrial sciences, Bio-Engineering, Bio-Chemistry, Food Technology or experience in a similar position
• A first professional experience
• Experience with food quality in a production environment
• Good communication skills in English other languages such as French, Dutch, German or Spanish are an advantage
• Knowledge of HACCP and GFSI food safety standards
• Being able to visit other BENEO sites and toll manufacturers
