We're working with an established international manufacturing organization in West Flanders looking to strengthen its IT and digital transformation team with the addition of a Business Analyst.
The company operates within a modern ERP landscape centered around Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, complemented by several internally developed business applications supporting operational and administrative processes.
You will act as the key link between business stakeholders and IT teams. The successful candidate will analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into practical functional solutions.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, developers, and management, you will contribute to projects focused on process optimization, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize business processes across finance, operations, logistics, and administration.
- Facilitate workshops and conduct interviews with key users and process owners to gather requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and internal applications.
- Coordinate and follow up on system enhancements, integrations, and change requests.
- Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), in collaboration with end users.
- Document business processes, workflows, data flows, and system functionalities.
- Contribute to data quality initiatives and ongoing automation and digital transformation projects.
- Serve as a point of contact for ERP-related and application-related functional questions.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is considered a strong advantage.
- Affinity with administrative and operational business processes within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional documentation.
- Familiarity with project methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or hybrid approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
