Context :
We are looking for a driven Junior IT Analyst who supports IT initiatives end-to-end in an Agile/DevOps environment.
You help stakeholders structure analyses, translate needs into clear, testable functional requirements, and guide them through required governance (legal, compliance, architecture).
Role focus
• Functional/technical analysis across a variety of initiatives (applications, integrations, data flows, changes).
• Governance enablement: helping stakeholders prepare and complete required reviews and documentation.
• Operational reliability: second-line incident analysis and coordination toward sustainable fixes.
• Automation using N8N and agentic AI: supporting process automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and refine functional requirements and acceptance criteria; produce clear specifications and user stories.
- Map current and target processes and information flows; identify impacts on systems, interfaces, and data.
- Coordinate governance steps: prepare inputs for legal/compliance and architecture board, complete mandatory templates, and follow up on approvals.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, operations, and stakeholders to balance value, quality and speed.
- Provide second-line incident support: perform root-cause analysis, prioritize, coordinate with teams, and document corrective/preventive actions.
- Contribute to agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of ways of working.
- For automation use cases: help assess feasibility, dependencies, risks, and integration patterns (e.g., API use).
Required Experience
We are looking for a “junior” with maturity who is able to support stakeholders professionally and keep oversight of the IT landscape.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a functional analysis-focused role.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills: structure conversations, clarify priorities, and report clearly.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong analytical and conceptual abilities; experience modeling processes (e.g., BPMN) and defining precise requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Basic understanding of integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP) and data flows; able to ask the right questions about interfaces and dependencies.
- Familiar with basics of SDLC and Agile/DevOps ways of working.
- Practical experience with Confluence and Jira (or other relevant software) for documentation and backlog management.
- Strong affinity with IT and troubleshooting for second-line incidents; root-cause mindset and solution orientation.
- Interest in workflow automation (e.g., N8N) and how AI/agentic AI can integrate into processes. ITIL knowledge is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Languages: Dutch and English, spoken and written.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts is a plus.
- Understanding of data modeling, logging/monitoring, and non-functional requirements.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
