Industrial Configuration Manager – Windchill & MBOM

We are currently looking for an Industrial Configuration Manager to join a high-tech industrial environment operating on complex engineering and manufacturing projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistency, traceability and management of product configurations throughout the product lifecycle, from design to production.

You will work closely with engineering, production, quality, supply chain and purchasing teams in order to manage technical product data, product structures and configuration changes within a PLM environment.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and maintain product configuration data within Windchill PLM
• Ensure consistency and traceability of technical data and product versions
• Support the management of MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials)
• Coordinate configuration changes between engineering and production teams
• Organize and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCB)
• Participate in configuration audits and design reviews
• Ensure proper follow-up of configuration management processes with suppliers and subcontractors
• Contribute to product quality, traceability and industrial efficiency

Your profile

• Experience in Configuration Management within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of PLM tools, ideally Windchill
• Experience with MBOM and product structures in production/manufacturing contexts
• Understanding of product lifecycle and engineering change processes
• Experience in Aerospace, Defence, Automotive or other complex industrial sectors is a plus
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Fluent in French with good English skills
