Auditor - Senior

We are looking for a Senior Auditor for a very important client based in Brussels, Belgium.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Auditor with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an external audit environment. This is a hands-on role where you will actively participate in audit missions across a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with experienced managers and partners.

Key responsibilities

– Participate in and progressively lead external audit missions on a client portfolio.

– Review financial statements in accordance with Belgian GAAP and/or IFRS standards.

– Assess internal controls, identify risks, and document audit findings.

– Contribute to the drafting of audit reports and management letters.

– Maintain professional contact with client finance teams during engagements.

– Support audit planning and coordinate with team members on fieldwork.

– Gradually take on increased responsibility as experience grows.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

– Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an audit firm environment (mandatory)

– Previous experience directly related to Belgian taxation

– Experience in external audit with exposure to multiple client engagements

– Good knowledge of Belgian GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus

– ITAA certification in progress is considered a strong asset

– Bilingual: French/English or English/Dutch
