EMEA Product Manager Biomaterials

GC Corporation was founded in 1921 in Japan and has developed itself into one of the most prominent companies in the development, production and distribution of a very wide range of dental products. Since 1972 GC Europe NV, our European Headquarter is located at the Researchpark Haasrode in Leuven (Belgium). GC Europe NV supports and leads our different sales offices and dealers. Our warehouse spreads our products to Europe and the Middle East.

For the development of our Biomaterials product line, we are currently looking for a:

EMEA Product Manager Biomaterials

Purpose of the job:

As a Product Manager for Biomaterials, you lead the introduction and management of our Biomaterial product line in EMEA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management or sales in the Periodontology and/ or implantology business and a passion for driving product success in this field.

Main responsibilities:

New product introduction, Product lifecycle management, and market research

• Actively collect and analyze market trends and information (prices, competitors, etc.)
• Plan, execute and analyze product tests throughout Europe.
• Transform global product strategies into operational action plans for product introductions
• Establish partnerships for successful promotion of Biomaterials in EMEA territories
• Visit opinion leaders and influential end users (universities, dentists, dental technicians, …) and organize round tables

Product Documentation & Marketing campaign

• Develop operational action plans to animate sales of product line
• Create briefing for marketing documentation and online activities in line with the global positioning of products
• Develop tools highlighting clinical solutions more than product features

Product trainings & presentations

• Create training tools like presentations, videos, models, procedures etc.
• Give product trainings for new and existing products to sales and marketing, customers and dealers.
• Support the development of training activities in Leuven and on country level

Sales & forecasting

• Monitor the sales of your product range and analyze the effect of marketing activities on regional sales
• Ensure the timely delivery of new and existing products in line with sales budget.

Innovation

• Work out opportunities to contribute to the fulfilment of market needs in time by translating internal and external ideas as well as Voice of Customer into suggestions for development of new products

Coordination

• In your interface functions you maintain a constant exchange of information with all departments relevant to the company, in particular Sales, Marketing Communication, Training & Education, Regulatory, GC International and R&D

Requirements:

• A degree in Marketing, Business, Dentistry or in a related field is required.
• Preferably you have also acquired professional experience in the biomaterial or implant industry
• You are fluent in both written and oral English
• Knowledge of Dutch/ German/French is a plus (spoken)
• Comfortable with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work in a structured manner with great personal initiative, and to set priorities
• Strong communication skills at any level
• Project Management skills, able to steer a project team
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position is required
• Ability to travel up to 20% the time
