An international financial institution is seeking an experienced and client-focused professional to join its Corporate & Institutional Banking team in Brussels.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with corporate and institutional clients, identifying business opportunities and supporting the bank’s growth objectives.
• Handle the full credit lifecycle, including client onboarding, KYC and due diligence, financial analysis, credit proposal preparation, loan execution, and post-transaction monitoring.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across front, middle, and back-office functions to ensure high-quality client service and smooth transaction execution.
• Monitor client portfolios and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and broader team objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience, including solid exposure to corporate and institutional client coverage.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of corporate banking products, credit risk analysis, and relationship management.
• Established network within the local corporate or financial institution market is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch would be a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cross-border corporate and institutional banking business.
