Energy Solutions Group is in the process of developing and constructing a pipeline of battery energy storage system (BESS), wind and solar projects in Belgium and the Netherlands. To grow our internal project team we are looking for an Electrical Engineer with meaningful experience in the design and execution of such projects. The successful applicant will work in the Projects and Technology Team alongside other external and internal project managers and engineers. In this role, you will contribute to the conceptual design of new projects and project augmentations, while also reviewing the detailed engineering work delivered by external parties. You will assess BESS offers from both a technical and commercial perspective, including lifetime cost and performance analyses. In collaboration with our legal team, you will support the contracting of external Engineering, Procurement and Construction, suppliers and service providers. In addition, you will supervise the execution of BESS projects and work closely with our asset management teams to identify opportunities for technical improvements. You will monitor market developments in storage technologies and plant control to evaluate relevant opportunities for Energy Solutions Group.
