Workload: Full-time hours

Setup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)

Location: Brussels (2 days onsite per week, 3 days remote)

We are looking for a senior Business & Project Analyst to drive AI and intelligent automation initiatives at the intersection of business and IT within a complex, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams for AI and automation initiatives.
• Analyse business needs and translate them into clear, structured functional and non-functional requirements.
• Assess, prioritise and quantify the value of AI and automation use cases.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects involving AI, RPA, data, and digital platforms.
• Promote and evangelise the use of AI and automation across the organisation.
• Support implementation teams and ensure alignment with business expectations.
• Train and support business users to maximise adoption and value of delivered solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

• 9+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Project Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of AI technologies, intelligent automation, and their practical applications.
• Proven project management experience in large, complex organisations.
• Experience implementing AI solutions, ideally within a regulated or infrastructure environment.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French with good English.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in energy, utilities, or TSO environments.
• Exposure to digital transformation programmes at enterprise scale.
