Project Engineer - Automation & Digitalization (m/f/x)

agap2 is a European engineering consultancy active across various industrial sectors such as large infrastructure works, process industries (life science, food & beverage, chemistry), energy, and transport. As a Project Engineer – Automation & Digitalization , you will support industrial sites in identifying, developing, and implementing technical solutions aimed at improving automation, digitalization, and operational efficiency. You will work in close collaboration with operational teams and project stakeholders while remaining autonomous in the day-to-day follow-up of your projects. Identify improvement opportunities related to automation, digital tools, and industrial processes. Coordinate automation and digitalization projects from analysis phase to implementation. Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and IT teams. Support continuous improvement initiatives on industrial sites. Follow project planning, technical actions, suppliers, and implementation progress. Ensure proper communication and reporting with project stakeholders and technical management. Participate in testing, commissioning, and operational follow-up of implemented solutions. Master’s degree in industrial engineering, Automation, Electromechanics, Process Engineering, or a related technical field. First experience in industrial projects, automation, digitalization, or continuous improvement. Strong interest in process optimization and automation technologies. Comfortable working directly with operational teams on site.
