Project Engineer - Automation & Digitalization (m/f/x)

As a Project Engineer – Automation & Digitalization , you will support industrial sites in identifying, developing, and implementing technical solutions aimed at improving automation, digitalization, and operational efficiency.

You will work in close collaboration with operational teams and project stakeholders while remaining autonomous in the day-to-day follow-up of your projects. This role requires a proactive mindset and the ability to independently drive improvement initiatives across multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify improvement opportunities related to automation, digital tools, and industrial processes.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to optimize operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Coordinate automation and digitalization projects from analysis phase to implementation.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and IT teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on industrial sites.
• Follow project planning, technical actions, suppliers, and implementation progress.
• Ensure proper communication and reporting with project stakeholders and technical management.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and operational follow-up of implemented solutions.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering, Automation, Electromechanics, Process Engineering, or a related technical field.
• First experience in industrial projects, automation, digitalization, or continuous improvement.
• Strong interest in process optimization and automation technologies.
• Autonomous, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Comfortable working directly with operational teams on site.

Depending on project needs, one of the following profiles is required:

• French + English (full professional proficiency)
• Dutch + English (full professional proficiency)
