Technical Lead (GIS / Geomatics) - 12 months - Brussels One of our important clients is currently looking for a Technical Lead (GIS / Geomatics) for a 12-month contract based in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable. We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead (GIS / Geomatics) to support major transport infrastructure projects, focusing on spatial data management and real-time operational systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a GIS specialist who enjoys working on complex infrastructure environments with modern geospatial technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of GIS solutions for infrastructure projects
- Manage geospatial data, mapping, and visualisation activities
- Support network mapping, route optimisation, and asset management
- Coordinate with engineering teams, operators, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and adherence to technical standards
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geoscience, Geomatics, Aeronautics, or similar
- Minimum 6 years’ experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS API, ArcGIS Server, ESRI technologies
- Proven experience with Geoserver and Geodatabase development
- ESRI Certification
- English level B2 minimum
