Job Vacancy: Freelance Project Leader – Electrical Cabling Infrastructure

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Leader Electrical Cabling Infrastructure to support and lead high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects. In this role, you will contribute to cable projects across voltage levels ranging from 36 kV up to 380 kV , playing a key role from initial concept through to project completion.

You will be part of a dynamic infrastructure projects department and benefit from extensive training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Leader, you will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle:

• Project Development & Execution
• Contribute to project definition, studies, and design phases
• Technical Expertise
• Perform and supervise technical studies
• Carry out engineering calculations and analyses
• Planning & Budgeting
• Procurement
• Prepare tender documentation
• Participate in supplier selection and procurement processes
• Site Coordination
• Lead and coordinate on-site activities
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders

Depending on your experience level, you will either take full ownership of these responsibilities or work under guidance.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics , or equivalent through experience
• Strong interest in engineering and the energy sector
• Experience in project management and/or site supervision is an advantage
• Fluent in Dutch ; knowledge of French is a strong plus
• Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills
• Effective communicator with assertiveness and a customer-oriented mindset
• Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude
