Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a large capital project for a chemical API manufacturing facility. Managing the project from end-to-end, from concept through to detailed design through to construction, commissioning and operational readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a major capital project for an API manufacturing facility.
• Manage full project lifecycle activities, ensuring delivery against the agreed scope, cost, schedule and quality.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource planning, scheduling, risk management and execution strategy
• Oversee construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with design, quality stands and regulatory requirements.
• Support capital appropriation request (CAR) preparation, alignment and submission in line with governance processes.
• Manage project reporting, including progress updates on scope, cost, schedule, risk and mitigation actions.
• Align and act as the key interfaced between internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with construction and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in project management within capital projects
• Proven experience in leading greenfield projects within pharmaceutical, chemical or fine chemical environments (must have some pharmaceutical)
• Fluency in Dutch and English
