Mechanical & Piping Designer – Plant 3D / Inventor

Location: Antwerp, Belgium

Work Setup: Onsite

Contract Type: Freelance / ZZP

Contract Length: 2 months (strong extension possibility)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start: June 1st - July 31st

An industrial engineering company just east of Antwerp is looking for a Mechanical & Piping Designer to support upcoming industrial piping and mechanical design projects.

The role focuses on developing piping layouts, mechanical designs and technical drawings for industrial plant environments using AutoCAD Plant 3D and Autodesk Inventor .

Projects will involve close collaboration with engineering and project teams within a Dutch-speaking environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop piping and mechanical designs using AutoCAD Plant 3D and Inventor
• Produce technical layouts, isometrics and detailed engineering drawings
• Support industrial piping and plant installation projects
• Modify and update existing technical drawings and plant documentation
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams during design phases
• Support technical reviews and drawing revisions throughout project execution

Requirements

• Strong experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Proven experience with Autodesk Inventor
• Experience within industrial piping or mechanical plant design environments
• Ability to produce and modify detailed technical drawings independently
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering projects
• Dutch mandatory
