About the Role

A leading international company in the energy sector is seeking a Tendering Specialist to support its growing Grid Automation activities in Belgium. The role involves close collaboration with sales, engineering, and supply chain teams to prepare competitive technical and commercial offers for both new projects and service activities.

You will join an international tendering organization operating across Europe in a dynamic and fast-evolving energy market.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate competitive bids, quotations, and technical proposals
• Define appropriate technical and commercial solutions based on customer requirements
• Ensure all tenders are accurately documented, costed, and submitted on time
• Manage the preparation of technical, financial, contractual, and commercial aspects of proposals
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders involved in bid preparation
• Identify and assess technical and commercial risks associated with projects and contracts
• Support sales teams by providing technical expertise throughout the sales process
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure a high-quality client experience
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to evaluate suppliers and technical solutions

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in tendering, engineering, project management, technical sales, or presales activities
• Strong technical understanding of power systems and industrial automation technologies
• Knowledge of:
• Substation Automation
• Protection Systems
• SCADA
• RTUs / IEDs
• Critical communication systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch
