Job Title: Business & Functional Analyst Location: Brussels, Belgium Contract Type: Full-time (Payroll is a preference or Freelancer) Start Date: ASAP About the Role Capyx is looking for a Business & Functional Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, translate requirements into functional specifications, and ensure smooth delivery of projects in a multilingual and international environment. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders Translate business needs into clear functional specifications Act as a liaison between business teams and IT/development teams Support solution design, testing, and implementation phases Write user stories, use cases, and process documentation Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings Ensure alignment between delivered solutions and business expectations Assist in change management and user training when needed Profile & Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or related field Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment Experience in Banking and/or Insurance is a Must Experience with tools like BPMN, UML, Jira, Confluence, or similar Experience with APIs and file exchanges (XML, JSON, CSV, XFB, etc.) Understanding of architecture concepts Strong communication skills and stakeholder management Knowledge of data analysis or SQL Certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, etc.) Language Requirements English: Fluent (mandatory) French: Professional level Dutch: Professional level
