Business / Functional Analyst (Freelance) – Payroll Engine Build – Leuven A HR services organization in Belgium is looking for a Business / Functional Analyst to support the build of a new payroll engine within its HR and payroll service landscape. The assignment focuses on analysis of payroll requirements, definition of functional specifications, and support of the design and implementation of a new payroll calculation and processing engine. The scope includes alignment between HR, payroll, and IT stakeholders. Respon sibilities Analyse payroll and HR business requirements Gather and document functional requirements for a payroll engine Map AS-IS payroll processes and define TO-BE design Support design of payroll calculation, validation, and processing logic Coordinate workshops with HR, payroll, and IT stakeholders Support integration with HR systems, time tracking, and finance systems Support testing activities including test scenario definition and validation Ensure alignment between regulatory payroll rules and system design Profile Experience as Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in HR/payroll environments Knowledge of payroll processes and payroll system logic Experience with requirements gathering and functional specification writing Experience with stakeholder management across HR, payroll, and IT Freelance availability Additional Details Location: Leuven Contract: Freelance Duration: 12 months Start date: ASAP Language: Dutch
