Business Analyst (Freelance) – Public Sector Platform Modernisation – Brussels
A public sector organisation in Brussels is looking for a Business Analyst to support the modernisation of a citizen service and digital application platform.
The assignment focuses on analysis of current administrative processes, definition of requirements for a new digital platform, and support of alignment between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams. The scope includes digitisation of permit and request handling workflows and integration with existing government systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyse current citizen service and administrative processes
- Gather and document business requirements from public sector stakeholders
- Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes for digital transformation scope
- Support definition of requirements for a citizen service portal and workflow platform
- Coordinate workshops with business users, policy teams, and IT teams
- Support definition of functional specifications for development teams
- Support testing activities including test scenario definition and validation
- Ensure alignment between regulatory requirements and system design
Profile
- Experience as Business Analyst in public sector or large enterprise environments
- Experience with digital transformation or case management platforms
- Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping
- Experience in stakeholder management across business and IT
- Ability to work in English only environment
