Our client is a global provider of Health Information Systems (HIS) for hospitals, combining the stability and credibility of a long‑standing industry leader with modern, continuously evolving technology platforms. Its solutions play a critical role in clinical coding, billing accuracy, and revenue cycle efficiency, supporting healthcare organizations in delivering sustainable, high‑quality care.

This role offers a unique opportunity to move beyond traditional IT support and work hands‑on with enterprise software deployed in hospital environments, where your contribution delivers clear, real‑world impact on clinical and operational outcomes.

We are seeking an

L2 Support Engineer (Healthcare IT) (m/f/d)

Location: Diegem, Flemish Brabant Province (hybrid) (1 -2 days per week in the office)

Salary €55,000 – €72,000 base salary + bonus, depending on profile and background

In this role, you ensure that critical coding and data systems run reliably and are used effectively, supporting hospitals in improving processes and reducing inefficiencies.

Your Impact

You will work closely with hospitals across Belgium and support key healthcare IT solutions, including:

  • 360 Encompass – next-generation AI-driven coding platform
  • DRG Finder – established clinical coding solution used widely across hospitals
  • Benchmark Portal – data analytics platform enabling hospitals to compare and improve performance

Your Role

  • Support and troubleshoot installed HIS modules
  • Work closely with physicians and coding specialists to resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Contribute to the successful rollout and adoption of new solutions and upgrades
  • Guide customers and ensure precise use of the systems
  • Collaborate with international teams to improve performance and user experience

Your Profile

  • Background in IT, software, or a related field
  • Initial experience in technical support or system environments
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and a structured way of working
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and explaining technical topics
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical users within the hospital
  • Fluent in French, Dutch, and English
